Killington Resort Ready For Winter With Packed Events Calendar

Vermont’s Killington Resort, the largest ski and snowboard destination in Eastern North America, announces another jam-packed events lineup to kick off its second year under independent ownership. Starting off with the annual Loaded Turkey Rail Jam on November 22nd and running all the way through the end of skiing & riding in May (or June!) with Decked Out Days events, this year’s schedule provides events for the whole family.
Before the calendar turns to 2026, they’ll be hosting Deck the Rails, a brand-new rail jam that will offer big air and big prizes, as the winners will split a $10,000 cash purse. Highlights in the new year will include two different USASA-sanctioned events in our kparks, the return of Park Affair featuring a new park building clinic, and the return of Love Your Peaks, the nationwide Boarding 4 Breast Cancer fundraising event series.
“After throwing a closing party for the Superstar Express Quad this past April, we’re excited to open up the new Superstar Six with a party of its own in late November or early December,” says Mike Sutcliffe, Events & Sponsorship Manager at Killington. “With the Winter Olympics also returning this year, we plan on hosting some watch parties in our K-1 Lodge, including one for the Women’s Giant Slalom runs on February 15th.”
Killington-area classic events are also lined up to return, starting with Andy Parry’s Tell A Friend Tour on February 8th, the 12th annual Slash & Berm Banked Slalom on March 6th – March 8th, and our usual slate of springtime fun, including the Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge on April 4th and Pond Skim on April 11th. Family-friendly programming will return during each of our three holiday “peak” weekends, including more Tubing Nights presented by bubly, featuring fun giveaways and complimentary s’mores.
