Christian Worister Appointed To The Board Of Bergbahn AG Kitzbuhel From Fall 2020

Mag. Christian Wörister was appointed as a new board member of Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel at the May Supervisory Board meeting. BGM Dr. Klaus Winkler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel, sees the wealth of experience as an opportunity to ensure the company's competitiveness. "With HR consultant Mag. Robert Pfoser, we invited top-class managers to the presentation. Mag. Christian Wörister qualified as the best-ranked in this selection process, ”praises BGM Dr. Klaus Winkler.
Mag. Anton Bodner, CEO of Bergbahn Kitzbühel, is also impressed by Mag. Mag. Christian Wörister was most recently the managing director of Salzburg AG Tourismus Management GmbH and Salzkammergutbahn GmbH. There he was responsible for the marketing of the fortress railway, the Mönchsberg lift, Wolfgangsee shipping and the Schafberg railway. Previously, he held the position of managing director of the holiday region and national park center Hohe Tauern for 18 years. Born in Pinzgau, he knows the requirements of mountain railway operations and the tourist interests of the region. "I appreciate the trust that the Supervisory Board and the Management Board have placed in me. In the interest of the guests, employees, owners and shareholders, I am optimistic about the future and I am convinced that we will master the upcoming challenges, ”said Christian Wörister.
