SMITH Launches New ChromaPop Glacier Photochromic Tints for Fall/Winter 2025

For 60 years, SMITH has been a leading innovator in performance eyewear for sport and outdoor enthusiasts, including its development of proprietary ChromaPop™ lens technology. New for Fall/Winter 2025, SMITH introduces two new ChromaPop™ Glacier Photochromic lenses specially formulated to perform in cold conditions adding to its assortment of performance lenses for high alpine pursuits.

Enhancing contrast, improving depth perception, and reducing haze with natural light boost, the new ChromaPop™ Glacier Photochromic lenses in Copper Rose Gold Mirror and Yellow Violet Mirror tints feature UV sensitive, self-tint-adjusting photochromic technology to adapt to changing light conditions. They are fine tuned to adapt with less sensitivity to temperature changes to provide full contrast and color enhancement throughout the tint range. Each lens offers 100% UV protection and includes water- and oil-resistant coatings for added durability.

The ChromaPop™ Glacier Photochromic Copper Rose Gold Mirror lens is offered exclusively in the Pursuit and Venture snow performance frames in Matte Gold Dust colorway. The copper to gray base tint with a rose gold mirror exterior offers a VLT* range of 58% - 7% (category 1-4). The ChromaPop™ Glacier Photochromic Yellow Violet Mirror offers a VLT* range of 24% - 4% (category 2-4). It is also available in the Pursuit frame as well as the Embark glacier sunglass, both in Matte Summit colorway. Each lens offering will transform to offer all day coverage in a single lens depending on variable light conditions.
