Outdoor Retailer Returns To Denver

Outdoor Retailer Snow Show arrives back in Denver from January 26-28, 2022, at the Colorado Convention Center. The in-person event offers unique new resources to help attendees make connections, access consumer trends and data from experts, and discover new brands and products.

“We are looking forward to gathering as a community at Snow Show and excited to provide the industry with free resources to launch and build relationships and gain expert insight to grow their businesses,” said Marisa Nicholson, Outdoor Retailer senior vice president and show director. “Both Match and The Resource Center can equip attendees with invaluable knowledge to assist with finding new connections and making more informed decisions. For all able to come together this winter, Snow Show remains the place to learn, discover what’s new and innovative, and have meaningful conversations that allow our industry to thrive.”

Among the new features is The Resource Center, a central hub to give retailers, media, brands, designers, and all attendees direct access to meet with trend and data experts. Free appointments can be booked now with Fashion Snoops, the NPD Group, Outside Looks, and WGSN to meet on-site in Denver.

“It is exciting to be back at the Outdoor Retailer show reuniting with the outdoor and snowsports community and engaging with attendees in new ways through The Resource Center,” said Jim Kelley, president of U.S. sports, the NPD Group. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Outdoor Retailer on this valuable initiative, with the shared understanding that complete, unbiased, and high-quality data is the cornerstone of business success. To achieve the greatest growth, retailers and manufacturers of every size selling outdoor products first need to understand and act on the marketplace trends, dynamics, and interactions across the entire sports and outdoor market and retail channels. Supported by NPD data and insights, companies are ultimately able to make informed business decisions, excite consumers, and inspire participation in sports and outdoor activities.”

Through the meetings, attendees can gather market research and trend insight or learn about new business technologies directly from experts. Discovery and new connections are happening live at Outdoor Retailer, and now attendees can simultaneously access information to support business decisions.

“The session ‘From Purpose to Product’ will cover three important lifestyle priorities that will specifically influence expectations for the Active consumer, and product shifts that will impact the market and drive newness for Fall/Winter 22/23,” said Tamara Esquiliche, strategist for Fashion Snoops. “The Fashion Snoops team will be stationed at The Resource Center where attendees will have the opportunity to ask us their questions on design, color, key shapes, and materials for the upcoming season.”
