Oakley Introduces New Team Collection For Peak Performance, Built In Collaboration With Team Oakley Athletes

Oakley designs gear that makes a statement. Engineered with performance and adaptive athletic design in mind, Oakley’s Team Collection features four key looks that channel the personal style of Team Oakley Athletes Rene Rinnekangas, Colby Stevenson, Sage Kotsenburg, and Jamie Anderson. Each collection is paired with a unique model of Oakley goggles designed in collaboration with the riders.

RENE RINNEKANGAS TEAM COLLECTION

A fusion of retro aesthetics and next-gen tech, the Rene Rinnekangas Team Collection is engineered for mountain performance and street style. Inspired by Rinnekangas’s unique style and infused with Oakley’s cutting-edge technology, the collection echoes the rugged elements of classic designs made to be worn from peaks to pavement. “I’ve been able to see my day-to-day style come to life on the slopes without having to sacrifice performance,” said Rinnekangas.

Leading the collection is the MTHOD Insulated jacket, which is made from 2L FN DRY™ 20K/20K insulated fabric and treated with HYDROFREE DWR for water repelling and breathability. It’s designed with taped seams, as well as a hidden helmet-compatible hood that can be stowed away when not in use. The Channel Cargo Pant offers similar breathability and water resistance and is complete with taped seams for extra protection. Built for the snowboard pro, the performance-ready bomber jacket and cargo pants take on a matte leather look inspired by streetwear for an easy transition off the mountain.

Inspired by the rugged beauty found within the backcountry, the Sage Kotsenburg Team Collection is designed with a baggy fit, fusing urban-inspired aesthetics with ultimate comfort for freedom of movement while navigating demanding conditions.
The Baldface Shell Jacket, named after Kotsenburg’s exploration grounds, uses HYDROFREE DWR treatment and 3L FN DRY™ technology to ensure dryness and breathability in extreme conditions.

Performance-wear elevated to withstand the harshest conditions; it’s designed with a relaxed fit to promote movement and layering, while a unique thermo-reactive print on the sleeves reveals an Oakley monogram pattern once temperatures drop. Following the same baggy design is the Baldface Shell Pant, equipped with two side pockets and back pockets to store essentials during long days of exploration. The Airwave Utility Shell Jacket is equipped with 3L FN DRY 20K/20K shell fabric, HYDROFREE DWR treatment and fully taped seams for long-lasting waterproof protection. Kimono sleeve construction allows for unrestricted movement, while chest cargo pockets create a functional utilitarian style. The corresponding Channel Grade Cargo Pant is built from the same waterproof fabric and designed to withstand extreme winter conditions.
