Mt. Hood Meadows Opening Tuesday, Dec. 23

Mt. Hood Meadows is opening  Tuesday, Dec. 23. They say:

"We are stoked to announce that we are opening for the season tomorrow, December 23! Please read this entire message to get all the details.

"We will be open from 9 AM to 4 PM with the Ballroom Carpet, Buttercup, and Easy Rider lifts. It’s possible we could get Daisy, but please check the Conditions page tomorrow morning for updates. The terrain is limited, so please stay on the groomed runs and watch for unmarked obstacles. We are not able to open for nights yet as the snow cannot handle 12 hours a day of riding, but we will allow Night Pass holders to come up from 1 – 4 PM until we are able to start night operations.

"If you already purchased tickets for Tuesday or Wednesday, they will be valid. Due to the limited terrain, we lowered ticket pricing to $59 for Adults and $39 for Juniors & Seniors for those days. If you bought a ticket at a higher price than that, we will credit you for the difference. Also, due to limited terrain, we are sold out of daily lift tickets until Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and they are no longer for sale on our website those days.

"At this time, Highway 35 is still closed between Parkdale and Meadows due to a landslide, but ODOT is working on it so make sure to check TripCheck.com before heading up from the Hood River side of the mountain.

"A huge thank you to our team members who have been putting in the work to get us open! We are excited to get open for the season and will keep everyone updated as we open more terrain."
