Copper Cup To Deliver Packed Event Lineup With Festivities On And Off The Racecourse

The Stifel Copper Cup will make its debut at Copper Mountain this fall. Happening Thursday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, the event will feature four days of men's and women's alpine World Cup events, bringing top athletes from around the globe to race on high-altitude terrain.

An Audi FIS World Cup, the Stifel Copper Cup serves as an important stop on the road to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, giving fans the opportunity to experience Olympic-level racing up close. 

As part of the Stifel Copper Cup, Copper Mountain will come alive with weekend festivities. Center Village will activate as a lively Festival Village with free live music, race celebrations, a bustling vendor village and more. The races are free to attend, but Copper is offering premium options for those that want to elevate their viewing experience. 

World Cup Race Schedule  

The Stifel Copper Cup will feature four days of world-class alpine racing in Copper’s East Village. Races begin on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, with the men’s super-G at 11 a.m. On Friday, Nov. 28, the first run of the men’s giant slalom will begin at 10 a.m. and the second run will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 will host the women’s giant slalom, also with runs at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., followed by the women’s slalom on Sunday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. All races will descend on Rosi’s Run into East Village. 

Race Weekend Festivities 

In addition to the races, the Stifel Copper Cup will bring Center Village to life with a Festival Village. The vendor village will be open each day of the event, while post-race celebrations and free live music performances will take place on select days. With festive energy and opportunities to explore, the Stifel Copper Cup promises an unforgettable weekend both on and off the mountain. 

Free Concerts 

Friday, Nov. 28  
DISPATCH will open the weekend of music with a headline performance. DISPATCH is a roots rock band known for their genre-blending sound and high-energy live shows that have built a loyal following worldwide. Formed in the late 90s, the band has forged its own path outside the mainstream music industry, growing into one of the most successful independent acts in history. 

DJ Logic will open for DISPATCH on Friday. DJ Logic is a pioneering turntablist and genre-blending musician who fuses jazz and hip-hop, collaborating with icons across styles to redefine the role of the DJ as a true instrumentalist and innovator. 

Saturday, Nov. 29  
Young the Giant will headline the evening concert. With hits like “Cough Syrup” and “Mind Over Matter,” the American rock band has captured fans worldwide with their signature blend of infectious melodies, powerful vocals, and dynamic live performances. 

G. Love will open for Young the Giant on Saturday. With his unique fusion of hip-hop, blues, funk, and soul, G. Love has captivated audiences with his distinctive sound and charismatic performances. 

Post-Race Celebrations 

In addition to the music, on Friday evening, racing fans can attend an award ceremony in the village for the top finishers of the men’s giant slalom event. Saturday evening will also feature the highly anticipated bib draw for Sunday’s women’s slalom race, where the top 15 competitors in the discipline take the stage to randomly select their starting numbers. This long-standing tradition builds anticipation for the final day of competition. Friday and Saturday night will be capped off with fireworks shows in the village following the headline concerts.  

VIP Passes 

Guests can enhance their race weekend with a premium VIP experience. VIP access includes access to Grand Hall, an indoor lounge with a private outdoor deck offering sweeping views of the course. Additionally, the VIP guests will have access to chef-prepared meals, a premium open bar, a private finish line section at the bottom of the course and reserved parking. 

VIP packages are available for both men’s and women’s races, as well as for the full weekend. Single-day access for the men’s races is $500, available Thursday, Nov. 27 or Friday, Nov. 28, with a two-day option available for $900. Women’s races are available for $700 for a single day on Saturday, Nov. 29 or Sunday, Nov. 30, or $1,300 for two-day access. Team Summit, the Summit Foundation, Eldora Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club, and the University of Colorado (CU) Ski Team are also selling VIP passes to the event on their websites. For every VIP Pass sold using their site, a portion of their sales will be donated back to their organization. 

Skier Access and Discounted Lift Tickets  

During the event, Copper Mountain will be open to the public for skiing and riding. Guests can access the finish area via Skid Road from Center Village terrain or by riding the Super Bee lift. From the lift, skiers can experience aerial views of nearly the entire racecourse. Please note that skier access off the Super Bee lift is limited to intermediate and advanced terrain: no beginner options are available.  

Copper will offer $99 lift tickets throughout the event from Thursday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 30. as part of its annual Play Forever Lift Ticket Giving program. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit the World Cup Dreams Foundation. The World Cup Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports elite US ski racing athletes by providing financial assistance, mentorship and career management to help them achieve their competitive goals. Lift tickets must be purchased online in advance and can be picked up at kiosks in Center and East Village.
