Breckenridge Announces Spring Programs

With 19 inches of fresh snow this week, and more expected in the forecast, this spring is shaping up to be the perfect time to visit Breckenridge Ski Resort. Thanks to a base elevation of 9,600 feet above sea-level, Breck offers great snow conditions well into April and typically operates with the majority of the resort’s 5 iconic peaks open through the end of the ski season. Breck’s ski season is traditionally among the longest of any major resort in the country, with the resort slated to remain open through Sunday, April 22.

Additionally, spring is the sweet spot of the ski season, often providing plenty of sunshine-filled days on the slopes intermixed with powder days (Fun Fact: March is traditionally one of Colorado’s snowiest months), and it’s also a great time to experience the resort like a local, and get more of the mountain to yourself.

Catch a ride on North America’s highest chairlift, The Imperial Express, at 12,840 feet. Take exhilarating laps down Breck’s famed High Alpine terrain, above the trees, where the views are endless. Explore the mountain like a local with the resort’s reimagined Breck Guides program. It’s one-of-a-kind, behind-the-scenes tour of our five mountains, where guests can get the opportunity to meet with Ski Patrol, learn about snow science, discover hidden powder stashes, and take on some of the most fun and challenging terrain our legendary mountain has to offer. Enjoy après on the deck at the T-Bar at Peak 8, and partake in lively free events throughout the resort and town like the annual Spring Fever celebration.

But don’t just take our word for it, experience all that spring has to offer at Breck with lodging deals that make this time of year heavy on the fun and light on the wallet. Enjoy up to 30% off this spring, with rates starting at $175 for the month of March and rates starting at $140 for the month of April when you book at www.breckenridge.com.
