Inspired by the title song of the legendary ski film ‘Fire and Ice’ by Willy Bogner (1986) and the collaboration around the Golf 2 Fire & Ice (1990), the special model ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE - announced in July this year - combines iconic design with modern electric mobility.

The reinterpreted song ‘Fire and Ice’ by Purple Disco Machine and Jake Shears builds a musical bridge between nostalgia and the present. Their remix of ‘Fire and Ice’ pays homage to the late 1980s original, but with modern beats that make it unmistakably contemporary. Within just a few days of release, ‘Fire and Ice’ by Purple Disco Machine reached impressive streaming figures and now has the potential to become the dancefloor hit of the season.
