OVO Network Winter News: 50 New Chalets & 2 New Resorts

High end chalet specialist OVO Network has introduced the picturesque ski resorts of Saint Martin de Belleville and Les Contamines for winter 25/26, as well as adding 50 new chalets to its portfolio.
OVO Network specialises in authentic, less well-known ski resorts, including Le Grand Bornand, Samoëns, Manigod, La Clusaz, Combloux, Saint Gervais, Châtel and Notre Dame de Bellecombe.
Chris Thompson, director of OVO Network, says: “We don’t do the big, glitzy resorts. Instead we focus on resorts that reveal the unspoilt, authentic charm of the mountains - villages which offer great skiing, but also have year-round activities and life. This year we’ve expanded into two new resorts and brought in many additional chalets, each hand picked to offer our guests premium facilities and high-end Alpine style.”
OVO Network now has 214 chalets and apartments on its website, including beautifully renovated ‘chalets d’alpage’. Once used as mountain shelters for shepherds, these small chalets have been transformed into romantic escapes that combine Alpine tradition with contemporary living - such as Chalet Sideflip near La Clusaz.
“To date, many of our chalets have been for larger groups, but these small chalets offer something very special for couples or small families,” adds Chris. “Their history as working mountain huts, combined with the fabulous renovations done by the owners, gives them a unique appeal and we’re excited to include them in our portfolio.”
For skiers looking to really disconnect from daily life, OVO Network has also introduced a growing number of chalets set in secret mountain hamlets - a world away from the bustling ski resorts. Hideaways such as Grand Mazot La Chandelle in peaceful Bionnassay, close to Saint Gervais, offer the chance to unwind and escape, while still enjoying access to world class skiing.
Enhanced financial peace of mind is also available for guests, with OVO Network now working with travel insurance specialist Koala to offer Koala Flex. This provides a 90% refund on cancellations made up to just two days before arrival.
Chris says: “We trialled Koala Flex last season and it proved very popular, paving the way for its roll-out this year. It’s now available for every property and gives guests the security that if they have to cancel for any reason they will receive 90% of their money back, giving more confidence to book early.”
The company’s hugely popular Cool for Kids chalets have also been extended for 2025/26, with 81 chalets offering the family friendly facilities for this winter season - including La Ferme des Artistes near Les Gets and Chalet Les Pellys near Samoëns. Cool for Kids chalets offer everything from bottle warmers and cots to Playstations and pool tables, making a family holiday easier and hassle free.
In addition, the gastronomy of the Alps and nearby Lake Annecy is being highlighted by the company this winter. With a growing number of guests requesting a private chef to cook for them at the chalet, OVO Network is supporting local chefs such as Valérie Germain, who creates meals using fresh local ingredients from the mountains, while Lake Annecy is the lake with the most Michelin stars in Europe (13).
OVO Network is committed to working in partnership with the local communities where it operates, helping develop mountain resorts that thrive all year round. As part of this the company has now partnered with the tourist offices of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand to ensure its chalets are featured on their official reservation sites, as well as launching a new partnership with Haut-Giffre to help increase awareness of the domain throughout the year.
