WOW – 365 Days Of World Of Wonders Lenzerheide

One year after the launch of its new development strategy, Lenzerheide is drawing a positive conclusion: WOW – world of wonders has strengthened the region as a year-round destination, motivated partners to actively participate, and provided new impetus. WOW is now the guiding principle of a new self-image. "We don't just want to be good. We want to create WOW moments – in balance between guests, locals, nature, and infrastructure."

Nature as a basis – making the simple unique

Nature is and remains the foundation: it is our world of wonders. The destination's mission and ambition is to preserve these wonders, making them accessible and tangible – 365 days a year. Behind every "wow" lies dedication and creativity, seeing existing things with fresh eyes and imbuing them with emotion.

With the highlight clip by Anthill Films featuring Nico Vuniger and Didier Cuche, LMS laid the foundation for its new brand world and development strategy a year ago. Today, it's clear: small and large miracles have been made visible, new impulses have been generated, and existing strengths have been showcased.

Experienceable all year round – with a clear brand architecture

As a year-round destination, Lenzerheide aims to increase occupancy rates throughout the year. While winter continues to play a key role, the summer months are becoming increasingly important. A clear brand architecture provides orientation: The Arosa Lenzerheide ski area and the Bike Kingdom are the seasonal highlights of the "world of wonders Lenzerheide," complemented by events such as the Enchanted Forest, the Biathlon World Championships, and the Mountain Bike and Ski World Cups.

From Marketing to Management Organization

As part of this development strategy, Lenzerheide Marketing und Support AG is increasingly transforming from a traditional destination marketing organization into a modern destination management organization. The focus will be even more strongly on developing offerings and experiences, events, guest relations, and marketing and communication – for a holistic guest experience. LMS will play a central role in moderating, coordinating, and networking within the region.

Making WOW a reality together

The first footprints of the movement are already visible: projects such as winter glamping, cross-country ski trail installations or creative collaborations with schools show how creativity, commitment and cooperation enrich the experiential space.

A special highlight is just around the corner: On December 6th, WOW Plaza will kick off its second winter season as part of the season opening festivities. Following its successful launch last year, the concept has been further developed and offers even more WOW! The Plaza is a meeting place for locals and visitors, a stage for shared experiences, and a symbol of the vibrancy of the world of wonders. At the same time, the church in Churwalden will once again be illuminated – by projections of children's drawings. In this way, the students of Churwalden are creating a warm and luminous gateway to the world of wonders.

“We create WOW moments in our world of wonders. This attitude is our compass – for employees, partners and locals. It helps us to continuously develop the experiential space – not as a marketing backdrop, but as a genuine promise. This creates identification and is enriching,” says Marc Schlüssel, CEO of LMS AG.

Anniversary Case Clip

To mark its first anniversary, a case study video was created that impressively showcases WOW's development over the past twelve months. It demonstrates the power of nature, the commitment of the region, and the enthusiasm of the guests – and simultaneously symbolizes LMS's transformation from a marketing organization to a management organization, driven by the clear vision of WOW and world of wonders.

With WOW – world of wonders, Lenzerheide is ready to write further chapters full of small and great wonders – for everyone who wants to experience WOW.
