Whiteface Mountain Bike Park Opens June 29th

Beginning Friday, June 29, the Whiteface Mountain Bike Park opens daily for the summer season.

The Whiteface Mountain Bike Park boasts 17 singletrack trails and one doubletrack, five ski trails, and four service roads. Since Whiteface also has the greatest vertical drop in the east, there's a lot of room to roll with 2,500 feet of bike park vertical.

From the summit of Little Whiteface, via a stunningly beautiful ride in the Cloudsplitter Gondola, trails are expert-only. Big bikes, helmets and full pads are the norm here. So are tight turns, big rocks and steep drops. Expect each run to take about 40 minutes.

For intermediate and beginner riders, the mountain's shuttle bus, which runs twice an hour, takes riders and their bikes from the base up to a drop-off point where they can choose from a selection of trails that match your ability.

The downhill mountain biking hours are from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., daily. Full single-day admission is $45, while half-day tickets are available for $35. Groups receive a 10% discount.
