APRESKI Milano Mountain Show To Offer A Preview Of The Olympic Season

From October 16 to 19, 2025, MIND's Big Theatre will become the gateway to the mountains with APRESKI Milano Mountain Show . For four days, the public will be able to enjoy experiences, meetings, and activities that showcase a world of sport and adventure, but also culture, innovation, and community. A chance to discover the mountains in their most authentic form: a place alive 365 days a year.

Skiing in Milan: the slopes and the Nordic circuit

The magic of the mountains comes to the city. In the outdoor APRESKI area, you can don your skis and boots and launch yourself down a 40-meter descent, served by a moving walkway for the ascent, offering everyone—from beginners to experts—the authentic thrill of the snow. An unmissable opportunity to experience the same sensations as a ski run among the peaks.

Alongside downhill skiing, a circuit entirely dedicated to Nordic skiing and biathlon will offer visitors the opportunity to try their hand at various disciplines, combining technique, endurance, and fun. Whether it's your first time on skis or an off-season training challenge, APRESKI will be the ideal place to test your skills.

AMSI - Italian Ski School Ski Instructors will accompany visitors: a national point of reference who will guarantee professionalism and safety, transforming the experience into an adventure accessible to everyone, young and old.

The slope is built by Newsnow , a Pordenone-based company that develops innovative surfaces to bring skiing to the city. "A synthetic slope isn't a simulation, it's real skiing," explains Instructor and Coach Alberto Laurora , spokesperson for Newsnow. "It's a bridge between the city and the mountains, allowing children and young people to explore this sport regardless of the season, reducing costs and creating new opportunities for ski instructors as well."

The mountains all year round: from snow to two wheels

APRESKI doesn't stop in winter. The mountains are all about movement and fun in every season, and in Milan it will take shape with a MTB Skill Area , a true urban bike park.

The public will be able to hop on the bike, tackle obstacles and technical trails, learn from qualified instructors, and experience the adrenaline rush of mountain biking. For those interested, there will also be educational sessions on mechanics and safety, making the experience complete and accessible to everyone, from beginners to more experienced cyclists.

The initiative is curated by Vittoria Park , the world's first park entirely dedicated to cycling experience and innovation. "With our Skill Area, we want to offer an experience that combines fun, education, and discovery," explains Loredana Calò , Managing Director of Vittoria Park, Events & D2C. "APRESKI allows us to bring the values that guide us to the city: innovation, passion, sustainability, and energy to share with every cyclist, athlete, and novice."

Ski tests and champions to meet

At APRESKI, the Pool Sci Italia village will be the heart of skiing passion. For four days, with the " starting point " of the Prove Libere Tour 2026, visitors will be able to preview the 2025–26 collections and try them out immediately on the synthetic slope, with the support of technicians and specialists ready to offer personalized advice.

The highlight will be Saturday, October 18th at 3:00 PM with " The Champions Fit Show by Pool Sci Italia" : twelve Italian alpine ski athletes will take the stage alongside the Italian Winter Sports Federation for a show filled with emotion, stories, and the symbolic handover of equipment for the new season. Even the littlest ones will be involved: 200 children will receive their " Never Give Up " bibs by showing up at the Pool Sci Italia inflatable outdoor village, where they can collect autographs and dedications. Then, a few lucky winners will have the extraordinary opportunity to step on stage alongside the champions, symbolically handing them their racing equipment, making the experience an unforgettable memory.

Pool Sci Italia , a consortium that since 1969 has brought together 27 leading brands and is the official supplier of the National Alpine Ski Teams, is bringing an exclusive preview of the season to APRESKI. "Our goal," explains Alessio Meda , President of Pool Sci Italia, " is to showcase the excellence of the Alpine skiing industry. With the village and the opportunity to test equipment in the city, we want to offer a unique preview of the winter season."
