The Countdown Is On For The National Snow Show

With less than four weeks to go until the first ever National Snow Show the organisers have revealed the latest speaker in the line-up. British ski jumping champion, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards will be joining famous faces from the world of snowsports including Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Chemmy Alcott, Billy Morgan, Warren Smith and Wenona Barnieh on 23-24 Oct at the NEC, Birmingham.

Eddie Edwards is a British ski jumping champion who was the first (and only) competitor to represent Great Britain at the Winter Olympics in Ski Jumping. Eddie gained his Eagle nickname after the International Olympics Committee President, Juan Antonio Samaranch, referenced him during the closing ceremony: ‘At Calgary people set new goals, created new world records and some even flew like an eagle’. Eddie will be sharing his journey with visitors during a live slot on the Snow Stage.

In addition to an incredible speaker line-up, huge brands including Ford, Coros, Alp Sport, Ski Exchange, Dalbello, Marker, Vokl, Rossignol, Crystal Ski Holidays, Ski Andorra and RedChurch Brewery have also announced that they will be present at the show.

The Ford Go Electric team will be on hand to demystify and answer any questions visitors might have about switching to electric cars and vans and help banish range anxiety. The Ford Go Electric Roadshow is designed for everyone.
