Snowfest x3 - The Rock A Rail Ski & Snowboard Tour 2025 Hits Innsbruck, Riga & The Hague

After two successful opening stops in Hintertux and Thun, the Rock A Rail Ski & Snowboard Tour 2025 is now truly gaining momentum. Over the coming weeks, the international street-style tour stops in three European cities: Starting today at Snowfest Innsbruck (November 21–23), followed by Snowfest Riga next week (November 28–30), and finally Snowfest The Hague just before Christmas (December 19–21).

  • Snowfest Innsbruck (November 21–23, 2025): Returning for its fourth edition, Snowfest Innsbruck once again transforms the Tyrolean capital into the epicenter of urban winter sports. With free entry, the event combines the third Rock A Rail Tour stop with a colorful winter festival for all generations. On Friday, snowboarders including defending champion Moritz Amüss (AUT) and 2024 tour winner Paula Benito (ESP) will drop in, while on Saturday the freeskiers step into the spotlight. Led by Ryan Stevenson (USA) and Alais Develay (FRA), they will bring creative tricks exploring the setup and options. Right next to the action, the Snowfest Village invites visitors to explore and get involved: little shredders can take their first turns in the Burton Riglet Park, young racers can test their skills on a downhill simulator, hop on a skibob, or discover new sports and activities.
  • Snowfest Riga (November 28–30, 2025): One week later, the very first Snowfest Riga celebrates its premiere, and Rock A Rail also makes its debut in the Latvian capital. New city, same vibe. The freestyle community is excited, as the venue promises a perfect urban playground: the Ghetto Games Coliseum, a cool, gritty location with authentic street appeal. Alongside the contest, the Snowfest Village will also be part of the Riga edition, inviting visitors to dive into winter sports right in the heart of the city. Ice hockey challenges, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping and many other activations bring winter to life in an urban setting. Sunday belongs to the next generation: for the first time, a World Rookie Street Tour stop will take place on the Rock A Rail setup, giving young talents the chance to show what they can do and shine on an international stage.
  • Snowfest The Hague (December 19–21, 2025): Just before Christmas, the tour returns to its roots: to The Hague, the Dutch city where the Rock A Rail story began in 2011, back then a local rail jam, today an international success story. At Snowfest The Hague, the season’s best riders will gather for the las and final stop of the 2025 tour. The Snowfest Village once again plays a central role. With numerous activations, it creates memorable moments for all generations. Highlights include a variety of sports within the “Wintersport Experience” hosted by the Dutch Ski Federation (NSkiV), as well as a “Snowboard Rodeo” presented by SnowWorld. Local sports clubs, including ice hockey teams, will be on site, alongside long-time Snowfest partners such as Blue Tomato and Zillertal, offering engaging activities. A design market curated by local designers (The Hague Designers Market by Tacho) rounds off the festival atmosphere. Just like in Riga, Snowfest The Hague will conclude on Sunday with a World Rookie Street Tour stop, shining the spotlight on emerging local riders.

Over the years, Rock A Rail has established itself as a fixture in the European freestyle scene, setting new standards for street-style snowboarding and streety-style skiing. The 2025 setup, featuring new rails and creative lines, was thoroughly tested in Hintertux and Thun and received great feedback from riders. For Innsbruck, the setup will get an upgrade with an additional feature promising even more action.
