4th Annual Provide To Ride Event Happening At Mt. Hood Meadows Jan. 6

One of Mt. Hood Meadows' most popular events of the season is coming up soon: the 4th Annual Provide to Ride food drive! Happening Tuesday, Jan. 6, this event helps benefit the Hood River FISH Food Bank AND provides a great opportunity to get an awesome deal on a lift ticket to Meadows.
Each guest who brings 24 cans of food or two hams to the resort on Jan. 6 will receive a free lift ticket for that same day from 9 AM - 4 PM. Alternatively, guests can purchase a specially priced lift ticket for $49 to ride that day, $44 of which will be donated to FISH. Those who already have a Season Pass to Meadows who want to donate but don't need the lift ticket can bring the required donation amount and a friend, who can then use the lift ticket that day.
Provide to Ride has always been well-supported by the Meadows community and the resort is hoping for another great turnout for this year's event. Over the past three seasons, FISH has received nearly $90,000 in proceeds from lift ticket sales and 19,000 pounds of food donations from Provide to Ride.
FISH Food Bank is a nonprofit that serves people in need of food assistance in Hood River County and the community of Mosier, helping approximately 600 families in the region each month, and is a partner agency of the Oregon Food Bank. For more information on the event, FISH, and to purchase lift tickets, please visit the Provide to Ride page on the Mt. Hood Meadows website. For those who can't attend the event but want to donate, please visit the donation page on the Fish Food Bank website.
