Hauser Kaibling - New 10-seater Gondola Lift “Senderbahn” From Leitner

Positive building permit for the new 10-seater gondola lift “Senderbahn” on the Hauser Kaibling!

The new 10-seater gondola "Senderbahn Hauser Kaibling" from cable car manufacturer Leitner will provide a significantly faster connection from the Planai to the Hauser Kaibling. The new cable car takes you directly to the Sender plateau in less than five minutes—making you just a lift ride away from the highest point of Schladming's four-mountain ski area. With a capacity of 2,400 people per hour and a speed of 6 m/s, the 10-seater gondola from Leitner offers an efficient and comfortable connection.

"The decision to replace the existing 4-seater chairlift with a 10-seater gondola was made due to the topography and the two-minute reduction in travel time. Its aerodynamic cabin shape makes it less susceptible to wind and offers significantly increased ride comfort. The ski rack in the gondola allows for comfortable and quick boarding and disembarking from the cabin, which is particularly convenient for families," says Klaus Hofstätter, Managing Director of Hauser Kaibling.

Together with the new 8-seater chairlift “Mitterhausalm I” on the Planai, the connection between Hauser Kaibling and Planai will be significantly upgraded in the future – a further milestone for even more comfort, speed and quality of experience in the ski area.
