Great Divide Ski area has halted lift operations until further notice. This is in alignment with the latest COVID-19 guidance from the CDC, Federal Government, and Lewis & Clark County.

in a statement Travis Crawford, President, The Great Divide Skiing Company, Inc. said

"Dear Great Divide Skiing Community,

"In alignment with the latest COVID-19 guidance from the CDC, Federal Government, and Lewis & Clark County, we have made the decision to halt operations until further notice.

"Once the COVID-19 situation begins to lessen, we have several contingency plans developed that will allow us to reopen this spring. At this point we do not have a timeline available, but we are hopeful that we will see lifts turned back on sometime in April, snow permitting.

"Great Divide has long been known for the longest ski season in Montana, often skiing into May.  We hope to continue this tradition again this year. We will continue to evaluate our operating plan weekly and will provide updates as the situation changes.

"We will provide updates at they become available. For the most up to date information please follow us on Facebook, our website, or subscribe to our email list at skigd.com.

"We hope to see you back on the slopes sometime in April.

"Thank you for your understanding,

"Travis Crawford
