Michelin Shoes Launches New Spring Summer 2020 Collection. “Everything’s Gonna To Be Alright”

Michelin Soles has always had a vision for the future, especially today when we are all in a critical moment. We believe in #everything’s gonna to be alright”.

Spring has begun! The days will start to get longer and the sun will be shining stronger and warmer. Although today we cannot go out, "tomorrow" will come and we will be back outside, more excited and energized than before!

Spring is season of many new changes including our wardrobe! As we wait to "spring into action" with new outdoor shoes, let's make ourselves comfortable by sitting on couch and discovering, together, the new collection of Spring/Summer 2020 of Michelin shoes.

AKU has entrusted Michelin with the development of the sole for its 2 models La Val and Montera trekking boots. The project with AKU certifies the importance of co-design between the brand and Michelin in making footwear designed to accommodate and emphasise the particularities and technologies of the partner company.

Michelin, in fact, managed to design the sole by integrating the existing Aku Elica system - Natural Stride System - which, with an asymmetrical area of contact with the ground, aligns the walking axis in a completely natural way.

The inspiration for the Pulsar sole comes from all-round mountain bike tyres, suitable for all types of terrain, thanks also to the deep grooves which increase adaptability to different types of surfaces.

Mammut - a leading brand in footwear for the mountains and hiking strengthens its partnership with Michelin presenting Alnasca II.

Alnasca II named after one of the most beautiful mountains inSwitzerland, immediately stands out for its exceptional lightness and adaptability to various terrains. The sole, carefully designed by Michelin and inspired by the range MICHELIN Artic Winter, will be highly appreciated by mountain lovers who will benefit from precise support, excellent traction and foot control thanks to the tread design and compound used. The special design of the tread ensures maximum performance on rocky and wet surfaces, adapting to and following every irregularity of the terrain.

The differentiated design of the toe and heel of the sole ensures excellent strength and prevents wear. The carved central blocks, derived from the knowledge Michelin has acquired in the world of Rally, ensure greater adaptability to the ground while those on the edges have been designed to provide greater support during downward movement. The Alnasca II is a product of excellence, suitable for a wide range of activities in the mountains and tested and approved by the tester team

Garmont Tikal, the true protagonist of the "Active Travel" segment, distinguished by unparalleled comfort thanks to the design of the upper and the material in soft leather. But the real identity of this footwear is in the Michelin natural rubber sole, perfect for the city and out-of-town trips and characterised by a wide and well-spaced gusset, which intensifies in the area of the toe and heel to provide greater grip and traction on both uphill and downhill stretches. Tikal is available in blue, beige, dark gray for men, while in sand, grapes and blue for the women.

The Spanish brand, Boreal, a leader in the world of climbing, launches the new Sendai approach footwear, combining it with a decidedly advanced and high-performance Michelin sole. The special design of the tread and the special compound used for this footwear, provide exceptional traction especially on rocky terrain where the climb zone offers the guarantee of grip during climbing. The Heel-to-toe blocks follow the natural movement of the foot, providing support and progressive traction which increases adaptability on uneven terrain. The larger blocks, positioned on the shoulders and in the heel area, offer greater stability and durability.
