Fischer Launches Speedmax, Lightest Rollerski On The Market. Tops German Test

The new Speedmax Classic sets new standards on the market in terms of lightness. The fact that it is the lightest rollerski on the market, combined with its outstanding performance, convinced the jury of the xc-ski.de rollerski test. With 42 different models tested, the Speedmax Classic received the highest award - 5 stars.

The Speedmax Classic clearly impresses with its noticeable lightness. It is available in two versions: The medium version weighs only 830 grams and is suitable for skiers up to 85 kg. For athletes weighing more than 80 kg, the stiff version with only 850 grams per rollerski is recommended. This extremely light weight is achieved by the full carbon construction of the frame. In addition, the carbon fabric ensures that the frame flexes as much like a ski as possible while still offering high torsional stiffness.

A new feature is the Bridge Art Shape construction, which gives the frame a certain pre-tension. This provides the rollerski with a very high ground clearance to protect the base of the rollerski. At the same time the lowest possible standing position is achieved, which also leads to a ski-like feeling. The comparatively large rollers with 45mm width and 70mm diameter are also responsible for a clearly noticeable stability.
