Elis Brigham Celebrates 90th Birthday With 'Explore Weekend'
Looking for some adventure to fill the gap before the season starts again? Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports is organising a weekend of outdoor adventures and exploration, inspiring talks and wellness, set in 16 acres of parkland alongside the shore of Wales’s largest national lake with direct access to a large beach. It’s to celebrate their 90th anniversary – no wonder they are such experts in all things mountain and outdoor!
Weekend tickets start at £245 for a group ticket covering 2-5 people including 2 nights’ camping pitch, free onsite activities such as forest school, yoga, swimming, paddleboarding and talks, a welcome drink and a 90th Anniversary water bottle.
Experts will be on hand with tips and techniques. We'll also have outdoor cooking demos, gear repair, yoga, speakers and more - all crammed into 48 hours.
Whether you are new to the hills, a seasoned hiker, or just keen to experience a guided hike, these sessions will suit you. The North Face will join with their ambassadors to make this the very best hiking experience.
GUIDED TRAIL RUNS
Led by EB partners Pure Trails and Salomon, these sessions are for anyone wanting to take their running to the next level. The running guides have routes planned for every distance, from 5Ks to a full day in the mountains.
Hosted by Rab, these sessions offer something for climbers of every skill level. Discover top-roping outdoors, learn the basics of trad climbing, or expand your trad knowledge in the advanced skill session ideal for more experienced climbers.
PADDLE BOARDING AND WILD SWIMMING
Get in the water with Zone3 and Red Paddle Co. They're running morning dips for an invigorating start to the day, sessions aimed at improving your open water swimming technique, guided SUPfaris which explore the lake and more!
Round off the day the best way in the Montane Marquee on Friday and Saturday evening. The home to our Explore & Endeavour Talks, you’ll be inspired and captivated by our guest speakers – full line up coming soon.
The Campfire area is our hub for the weekend, where we will host our Forest School, cooking demos, first aid workshops, and lots more. It is also the location of our food vans, bar, and Repair & Restore Workshop.
