Great Start To 2026 For Mt Sutton
While Mont SUTTON has already received 233 cm of snow at its base (281 cm at the summit) since the beginning of the 2025-2026 ski season and offers almost 100% of the skiable area open, the holiday season was particularly pleasant, at the same time announcing a promising new year, with even more activities and events on the program.
Holiday Season 2025 Recap
Specifically, between December 20th and January 3rd, 63 cm of new snow fell at the base of the mountain and 84 cm at the summit, beautifying the slopes. Skiers and snowboarders were therefore able to fully enjoy the powder during the holiday season, resulting in some magical moments on the slopes.
While the 2024 holiday season was successful, the 2025 season was even more so, with a 24% increase in visitors, including season pass holders. Day tickets alone saw a 41% increase, thanks to Mother Nature.
A wonderful surge in visitors was seen as a gift for the resort's 65th anniversary, which also translated into increased use of its various services, including a 12% rise in bookings for beginner packages and a 70% increase in alpine touring equipment rentals. A rise in customer spending at restaurants (including the summit chalet, with its ever-popular fireplace) and at the après-ski scene at Bar Le Tucker, with its exclusive, homemade, and delicious food offerings, was also noted.
Ski demos, musical après-ski, Christmas stocking hunt, 75¢ chicken wings, Sutton Ski Club torchlight descent, New Year's cocktail... are some of the activities that delighted young and old during this holiday break.

Just like the holiday season, a whole host of activities will be taking place at the 2026 mountain. While après-ski will continue on Thursdays (Open Mic and discounted chicken wings), Fridays (live music) and Saturdays (DJs), the popular Taco & Touring Tuesdays will return on January 13th, while other ski demos will be held soon, as well as several special events on the slopes such as for Valentine's Day, Sutton en Cœur in collaboration with the En Cœur Foundation, during spring break weeks (United States, Quebec and Ontario), for Easter, not forgetting the famous Snow on the Beach on Saturday April 4th and the traditional Défi Réal, the date of which is always known at the last minute!
Also, since twice as many young people registered for Christmas Camps in 2025, don't wait to register them for the various Spring Break Camps offered so they don't miss out! The Ski School will also be offering its popular Introductory Packages and Private Lesson Packages in 2026 (which also saw double the interest during the last holiday season), essential for getting to grips with the slopes and honing your skills!
Finally, if partner accommodations have also seen their multi-day ski package bookings increase recently, it is highly likely that the ski-sleep-ski packages will need to be booked quickly to enjoy the slopes at the best price, including overnight stay and breakfast, for weekday getaways!

Until the very end of the season, guests are also invited to share their favorite moments captured on the mountain on their social media by adding the hashtag #PurementSUTTON and tagging Mont SUTTON as part of a weekly contest . Every Thursday, an album of these moments is created on Facebook, and a winning photo is chosen to win two ski passes valid for a day of the winner's choice during the season!
