The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is one of the largest, most modern and greenest ski areas in the world, with 83 ultra-modern lifts and numerous child-safe gondolas and chair lifts. The 270 km of extremely wide and perfectly groomed pistes are 88% easy or moderately difficult, making them ideal for families. The incredibly large variety of runs means that all members of the family can ski the piste of their choice according to their abilities, then meet up again at the bottom. In addition, SkiWelt has three fun parks that are suitable even for the tiniest of winter sports fans, as well as speed and ski movie tracks, photo points and the opportunity to take a break at over 80 rustic, family-run mountain huts every 3.5 km of piste!

Keeping skiing affordable for families

In the early and late seasons SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental offers free ski tickets from three days for children up to 15 years of age. Young families with toddlers up to the age of three can whizz down the slopes all winter long at low cost, because Mummy and Daddy only need one lift ticket. Valid for 3 to 14 days, the ticket is transferable and may be used alternately by one of the two parents. If you are thinking of skiing for a total of 14 days or more, we recommend one of the various family winter tickets, which provide attractive price savings. skiwelt.at

Three times the tobogganing fun and Raven‘s Rally

Families can enjoy tobogganing fun to the power of three – on the three toboggan runs that are groomed, lit and covered with snow every day. For sharp curves and speed, try the Witch’s Run or Moonlight Run in SkiWelt Söll or the Astberg Run in SkiWelt Ellmau/Going (toboggan hire available at each), while the “Raven’s Rally” in SkiWelt Söll is great fun on two toboggans. Start at the raven’s nest up at the mountain station, then it’s off across SkiWelt Söll to try and track down the witches’ ravens that have flown away. As a reward you will receive coins with various motifs from the witches’ treasure in the raven’s nest. And, from winter 2022, there will also be a magical experience: a ride on the private Hexenwasser gondola, which can be booked for two hours – including chilled sparkling wine, nibbles and a sound accompaniment. Book the gondola at: shop.skiwelt.at
