Badrutt's Palace awarded 5-stars In Forbes Travel Guide 2020 Star Awards

Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is delighted to announce it has been awarded 5-stars by global rating experts, Forbes Travel Guide (FTG) in their annual 2020 awards. The only independent global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas worldwide, their 5-star rating is considered the hospitality industry’s most prestigious achievement and cements the Palace’s distinguished reputation as one of the very best hotels in the world.

Recognized for creating the original concept of 5-star service, the only way of achieving a Forbes Travel Guide Star Rating is by earning it through FTG’s independent inspection process and once a property is Star Rated, it is revisited on a cycle of one - two years in order to verify its continued performance.

The rigorous inspection process sees anonymous professional inspectors evaluate hotels based on up to 900 objective standards with an emphasis on service. Requirements are wide-ranging and incorporate 9 classifications from guest comfort and convenience to efficiency and staff appearance with 5-star properties acknowledged for virtually flawless service and amazing facilities.

Richard Leuenberger, Managing Director at Badrutt’s Palace said: “We are honored to have received the highest rating from Forbes Travel Guide. This award is a great recognition of the performance of our team, whose tireless efforts and passion have been instrumental in helping us meet Forbes’ high standards. The award shows us once again that we succeed every day to spoil our guests with excellent service. We are very proud and happy about the award.”

“It is difficult to earn a Forbes Travel Guide rating, and all our Star-Rated winners have shown how incredibly deserving they are of their accolades by demonstrating sheer dedication in their passion for service”, said Filip Boyen, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide.
