Arc'teryx launches FREE Freeride Village Program with athlete talks, films + workshops for Freeride Academy 2026

Ahead of the Arc'teryx Freeride Academy (5th-8th February 2026),the Freeride Village programme of free events has just been launched online - https://freeride-stanton.arcteryxacademy.com/events. Connect with your community, share stories, join athlete and partner-led workshops, and enhance your Freeride Academy experience at the heart of St. Anton’s Freeride Village. You can also test the latest gear for free from the Arc'teryx Gear Library and get free repairs on your broken gear while learning more about how we keep the good in play at the ReBIRD Repair & Care Center.

Plus, the village features partner stands with demo gear and rental services, ski maintenance, a lounge area with food and drink, live music with DJs, and much more. The Freeride Village Program is free for everyone - whether you're joining one of Arc'teryx's 500+ Freeride Clinics or just passing through St.Anton, and it'll feature:
  • An extended workshop program led by Arc'teryx athletes and guides, covering avalanche safety, gear selection and technical skills. with panel discussions from athletes including Tonje Kvivik, Coline Ballet-Baz and Elena Hight.
  • Film nights with exclusive screenings and talks from athletes, guides and creatives - https://freeride-stanton.arcteryxacademy.com/arc-event/friday-film-night-06-feburary-2026.  In the intimate Vallugasaal for three nights of film premieres and talks presented by athletes and filmmakers. This is your chance to see the freshest freeride films and connect with the mountain community. Grab a drink, get cosy, and immerse yourself in the world of Arc’teryx films.

    On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Vallugasaal will host a variety of film nights and talks presented by athletes and
    creatives themselves.

    Thursday night: Movie night screening Mountains of the Moon, the newest visionary project from creative mind Chris Benchetler.

    Friday night: Movie Night presenting Tandem, Tim, La Varappe and Sweven. Welcome special guests including Maude Besse,
    Lucy Sackbauer, Edgar Cheylus and Sebi Mall who will share insights and answer questions live on stage. Panel Discussion featuring leading women freeriders such as Elena Height, Coline Ballet-Baz and Tonje Kvivik exploring how the sport can be reframed toward playfulness and self-development rather than metrics and results.

    Saturday night: Panel Discussion x Movie Night that brings together athletes, photographers, and directors to share their
    unique experiences and interpretations of beauty within their craft. The discussion offers an exclusive behind‐the‐scenes perspective, giving the audience deeper insight into the stories and artistry behind their latest projects. Rounding it up screening the freshest freeride films: Between Days and Elsewhere. Special guests including Max Kroneck, Loïc Isliker, Silvia Moser, Sevi van der Meer and Perly.

  • Free Gear Library to borrow and test the latest and greatest freeride gear from Arc'teryx, Jones SnowboardsAtomic Skis and Giro. The Gear Library offers free product testing of the latest and greatest equipment from Arc’teryx, Jones snowboards, Atomic skis and Giro.
  • The Arc’teryx ReBIRDTM booth provides expert repairs and gear care insights, extending the life of well-loved pieces, to keep your gear in play for longer.

The Arc'teryx Freeride Academy brings together freeride skiers and snowboarders of all levels to learn from world‑class guides and athletes in the mountain environments Arc'teryx designs gear for.

Taking place from February 5-8, 2026, in St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria, the Freeride Academy features over 500 clinic spots for all levels where participants can learn from 20 world-class athletes and over 50 guides. There are also women-only clinics and workshop offerings.
