A New Project In Austrian Holiday Region - How "Nature.Power.Places" In Schladming-Dachstein Are Becoming Centres Of Relaxation And Mindfulness.

Drawing strength from nature is an ancient need that is becoming increasingly important in our fast-paced world. Among forests, meadows, and springs, people find the energy that is increasingly lost in offices, on screens, and in appointment calendars. Those who embrace the healing power of nature not only find relaxation but also a source of sustainable regeneration. The new project "Nature.Power.Places" in the Austrian tourist region of Schladming-Dachstein is dedicated to this approach. At 15 particularly scenic locations in the four Styrian municipalities of Irdning-Donnersbachtal, Aigen im Ennstal, Wörschach, and Stainach-Pürgg, resonance exercises developed by expert Sabine Ingrid Schulz are offered. These exercises promote greater mindfulness of one's own body and a deeper connection to nature through movement, conscious breathing, and meditative impulses. More and more guests are specifically seeking natural retreats during their vacations .
"The goal is to find inner peace, clarity, and renewed energy in these beautiful and powerful places. More and more guests are specifically seeking natural retreats during their vacations – we are meeting this growing need with specialized offerings for mindfulness, relaxation exercises in charming surroundings, and nature-based recreation," explains Mathias Schattleitner, Managing Director of the Schladming-Dachstein Tourist Board. "The Grimmingland health region, with its unique natural diversity, invites you to do more for your own health on all levels – enjoyable, varied, and lasting." Sustainable tourism product created the new project "Nature.Power.Places" was funded by the Styrian Rural Development Agency and with funds from the Styrian State and Regional Development Act. The Schladming-Dachstein tourism region also supported the project with stimulus funding.
Through collaboration between municipalities, local stakeholders, and funding at various levels, a sustainable tourism product has been created that appeals to both locals and guests and contributes to improving health and well-being. The wide range of guided activities, particularly the mindfulness hikes with trained instructors, underscores the focus on the practical implementation of the concept.
The Nature.Power.Places are accessible 300 days a year and are aimed at people of all fitness levels. All information is available online at www.schladming-dachstein.at/naturkraftplaetze +++
