Around 40,000 winter sports enthusiasts cast their votes for the 2024/25 Top Ski Resorts Awards on Schneehoehen.de/.at/.ch, choosing the most popular ski resorts in the Alpine region. Ski resorts were recognized in several categories for their special offerings – from the best snow park to the best value for money to the outstanding culinary experience in the mountain huts.

  • The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn (AUT) was voted the best ski resort overall, securing the top spot as the overall winner and most popular ski resort of the season. Kronplatz (ITA) and Skigastein (AUT) took second and third place, respectively.
  • Arosa-Lenzerheide (SUI) impressed with its challenging slopes and was named the best ski resort for advanced and expert skiers. Users of www.schneehoehen.de/.at/.ch ranked Sölden (AUT) and Val Gardena (ITA) second and third, respectively.
  • The Penken Park in Mayrhofen (AUT) was awarded the best snow park, followed by the Stubai Zoo on the Stubai Glacier (AUT) and the Snowpark Ischgl (AUT).
  • The 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski area (ITA) impressed users with its diverse gastronomic offerings and received the highest award in the category “Best Hut & Gastronomy Offer”, closely followed by the Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf ski region (AUT/GER) and Snow Space Salzburg (AUT).
  • The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental in Tyrol (AUT) was voted the most family-friendly ski resort. The Zillertal Arena (AUT) and the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau (AUT) are also very suitable for families, according to the Schneehoehen users.
  • The Arlberg region (AUT) impressed with its off-piste opportunities and took first place as the best freeride area, followed by Damüls - Mellau - Faschina (AUT) and the 4 Vallées (SUI).
  • The Seiser Alm in South Tyrol (ITA) was awarded the best cross-country skiing area, ahead of the Seefeld and Filzmoos regions (both AUT).
  • KitzSki (Kitzbühel - Kirchberg, AUT) impressed winter sports enthusiasts with its excellent value for money and secured first place in this category, followed by Schladming-Dachstein (AUT) and the Hochkönig ski area (AUT).
  • The Silvretta Montafon (AUT) was recognized for its sustainable initiatives, followed by Karersee - Carezza Dolomites (ITA) and the Schmitten in Zell am See - Kaprun (AUT).

The awards ceremony took place in the respective ski resorts, with representatives of Schneemenschen GmbH (operator of Schneehoehen.de/.at/.ch) personally presenting the awards.
