3rd Ski Austria Symposium Held

The Austrian Ski Association invited people to the 3rd Ski Austria Symposium at the St. Virgil Education and Conference Center near Salzburg.
After the opening by ÖSV President Roswitha Stadlober, almost 300 employees, including numerous executives from the ÖSV and the state ski associations, listened to four exciting presentations.
The Ski Austria Symposium supports the personal development of each and every individual.
Dr. Andreas Salcher kicked things off with his keynote speech, "The Human Factor – What Separates Winners from Losers." In his engaging presentations, the well-known and renowned management consultant and bestselling author introduced the audience to several factors that separate winners from losers. His key message was "Personal responsibility instead of blame." In his presentation, Dr. Salcher also addressed social starting conditions, psychological trauma, emotional intelligence, the power of self-discipline, and questions that can help us find our bearings.
This was followed by a fascinating talk with ÖFB team manager Ralf Rangnick on the topic of "Communication and Leadership." In a conversation with Markus Aichner (ÖSV), the internationally experienced coach discussed success factors within a team, the importance of respectful communication within a group, leadership during difficult times, and inspiring moments. Using several vivid practical examples, the renowned football expert provided fascinating insights into his leadership philosophy.
The St. Virgil Education and Conference Center was filled to capacity.
This event, which was excellently prepared by trainer Gert Ehn and Melanie Meilinger , concluded with two sports science keynotes.
Dr. Billy Sperlich began by speaking on the topic of "Intensity in Endurance Training: Targeting Specific Target Groups." In his presentation, the expert from the University of Würzburg highlighted the importance of low- and high-intensity endurance training and explained how a targeted intensity mix can be effectively applied to different target groups—from children's and youth training to sports with and without endurance specialization.
Armin Harrasser concluded a successful event with his keynote speech, "ROOTS – The Foot as Key: Foundation for Therapy and Training." The qualified sports scientist, specializing in prevention and rehabilitation, has been working in the fields of training therapy, rehabilitation training, spiral dynamics, and neuroathletics for 20 years.
For ÖSV President Roswitha Stadlober, the third Ski Austria Symposium was a complete success, and not just because of the stimulating presentations. "Our annual symposium is about the personal development of each and every individual, because our employees, along with our athletes, are our greatest asset.
