Zellberg Buam Will Be Playing The Violin In Fugen Festival Hall At Pentecost.

Fans of the “Zellis” can look forward to a first-class live experience on May 18th and 19th: Together with prominent friends, the Zellberg Buam will be playing the violin in the Fügen Festival Hall at Pentecost.

Honest, down-to-earth and humble, the Zellberg Buam have been warming up their listeners for years. Fans of the trio will get their money's worth in the Fügen festival hall on the Pentecost weekend and can look forward to hits like "Tiroler Zeit", "Urig und real" and "Edlziller Partyknüller".

Alpine party with lots of friends

The three Spitaler brothers Gerhard, Herbert and Werner have been making the hearts of folk music fans beat faster for 43 years. The typical sound with Styrian harmonica, violin, bass, guitar and two-part live singing reveals the typical, authentic Zillertal attitude to life: "The Zellberg Buam are rustic, genuine and cheeky. Their concerts always offer a special experience and especially the Alpine party has become a fixture in the Zillertal event calendar," Manfred Pfister, managing director of the Fügen-Kaltenbach holiday region in the Zillertal, is already looking forward to the Whitsun weekend. In addition to the Zellis, well-known folk music bands ensure a good atmosphere on Saturday from 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m.: The Junge Zillertaler, the Wurzel Buam, Sander from Belgium, the Lumpen Mander, Die Mayrhofner, the Fetzig'n and Alsass Power make the festival hall shake with fast rhythms.

Zillertal Legends

Although the Zellberg Buam constantly give their music new faces with rustic, melancholic or even humorous titles, they have always remained true to themselves. No matter whether in pubs, on international stages or at the Alpine party - the brotherly trio always seems likeable, honest and down-to-earth. For their hits such as “Tiroler Zeit”, “Urig und real”, “Urgreif im Zillertal” and “Edlziller Partyküller” they received four gold awards and their unparalleled career was honored with the highest awards in the industry. In addition, they won the Austrian preliminary round at the Grand Prix of Folk Music three times, were guests at the Musikantenstadl more than 20 times and made more than 200 TV appearances. Particular highlights in their musical career were the trips to Florida and Beijing, where the cult band from the Zillertal was enthusiastically celebrated as ambassadors of folk music.

Nevertheless, a piece of “Hoamat”, the connection to the Zillertal mountains, meadows and forests, can be felt in every note. Fans can see this for themselves at this year's Alpine Party at Pentecost in the Fügen Festival Hall.
