World’s Highest Zipline Unveiled In Verbier

This season skiers can take to the skies with a different kind of adrenalin kick. The Swiss resort of Verbier has unveiled the world’s highest zipline, which begins at an altitude of 3,300 metres above the Tortin glacier. The Mont 4 Zipline, which is almost a mile long, will operate in both the winter and summer months. Skiers can reach speeds of up to 100 kph (63mph) on the descent, which totals 383 vertical metres and runs between the summit of Mont Fort and Les Gentianes restaurant.

Participants must be over 8 years old (Tu use the zip line, the minimum weight is 30kg and the maximum 125kg, minimum height 120cm). This activity is not recommended to pregnant women and people who suffer from vertigo, heart problems or any other health issues. No refund is granted in the case of lateness, cancellation, or if the participant decides not to take part.
