World Record Planned At Snowworld Bispingen Indoor Ski Area

A new world record is planned at the SnowWorld Bispingen indoor ski area in Germany on 7th October 2025: Oliver Kern from Skiresort.info wants to set his eighth world record for the most vertical meters skied in an indoor ski area in a single day.
It was not until February 2025 that Oliver Kern regained his world record by riding 101 different ski lifts in one day in Sälen, Sweden. But that's not all.

An exceptional record year in 2025

The passionate skier and extreme athlete uses the impressive SnowWorld Bispingen indoor ski hall to achieve this extraordinary feat. In February 2025, Oliver Kern set his seventh world record, and in April 2025, he visited his 1,000th different ski resort, meaning he has now skied in 35 countries on six continents. He also set a record by riding over 8,400 ski lifts and cable cars. In the course of his career, he founded Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts, in 1998, wrote over 500 test reports based on 18 criteria, and collected over 25,000 ski passes.
