Wintersteiger Sports Acquires Sports Rental Software
With the acquisition of the rental software, Wintersteiger Sports GmbH is strengthening its Digital Solutions division: Sports Rental optimally complements the existing rental software Easyrent, thus expanding its portfolio of comprehensive digital solutions.
Effective October 1, Wintersteiger Sports GmbH is acquiring the Sports Rental software from SR Software GmbH & Co. KG, based in Dreieich, Hesse. This step marks an important milestone for the Rent & Service division and opens up new perspectives for growth, digitalization, and customer access.
Sports Rental has been one of the leading solutions for the rental and management of sports equipment for many years. With over 2,000 installations in more than 25 countries, the software stands for quality, customer focus, and practical solutions. Through this acquisition, Wintersteiger is expanding its digital portfolio and strengthening its position as a full-service provider for rental companies.
No changes will be made for existing customers: The system landscape and support will continue to be fully available. The existing contact persons will also remain the same. All Sports Rental employees will be retained by Wintersteiger.
Previous owner Andreas Rauh will be supporting Wintersteiger as an external consultant: "I am pleased to have found a strong and reliable partner in Wintersteiger.
