Woodhouse Acquires Elevation Hotel & Spa In Crested Butte

WoodHouse — a leading creative hospitality company has  announced that the acquisition of the Elevation Hotel & Spa in the iconic ski town of Crested Butte, Colorado. Elevation is the only luxury ski-in, ski-out resort located at the base area of the Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR), in Colorado’s Elk Mountain Range. 

Elevation Hotel & Spa is a luxury ski-in/ski-out hotel destination located at the base of Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. The property features slope-side dining, a full-service spa, heated indoor pool, three hot tubs, and 9380 Tavern Restaurant and Bar, the base area’s hot spot for upscale mountain dining and entertainment. The 262 unit hotel reflects a combination of mountain charm and contemporary urban design offering the perfect choice for leisure and corporate travelers seeking enriching experiences and hospitality excellence.

WoodHouse acquires the 262-room Elevation Hotel from Boxer Property & Resorts, which has controlled and operated the hotel since 2013. The Elevation will remain independently owned by WoodHouse, which creates a unique lane to embrace and incorporate the local culture. Highgate, a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company, has been contracted by WoodHouse to lead the hotel’s daily operations.

To celebrate the acquisition and set the tone for enhanced future hospitality experiences, WoodHouse will debut a pop-up concept of its award-winning Dallas restaurant, José, as part of the hotel’s 9380 Tavern food-and-beverage offering. Set to begin service later this month, the José Pop-Up menu will offer a selection of regional Mexican-inspired dishes, cocktails and extensive tequila collection. José’s Dallas location was a 2022 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Hospitality and Best Chef Texas. José executive chef and WoodHouse corporate chef Anastacia Quinones-Pittman will lead the Pop-Up’s opening, working in partnership with 9380 Tavern’s culinary staff to execute the concept.
