When the Tannheimer Valley opens its winter season, the entire valley becomes a stage: From December 12th to 14th, 2025, the villages and the mountain railways will celebrate a diverse winter opening. Families, sports enthusiasts, and connoisseurs alike will find their own highlights here. Free shuttle buses connect the event locations, transforming the weekend into an adventure trail through the entire valley.
Tannheim: Winter magic for the whole family – from tobogganing fun to torchlit hikes.
Families can enjoy guided winter hikes or toboggan down the slopes of the Ice Age Kinderland and take their first steps on skiing. The ski school also offers sporting activities for all ages. Highlights include the torchlit hike on the Neunerköpfle on Saturday and the bouldering courses on Sunday. The Winter Expo, featuring outdoor, sports, and lifestyle, as well as the town center with its open shops, invite you to explore. Regional products await at the pre-Christmas Christmas market on Lake Vilsalpsee. The program is rounded out by a visit to the TOVINO wine bar and a raffle.
Grän: Action, Adventure, and Party Fun at the Füssener Jöchle.
Sporty adventures and socializing are the focus for young people and the young at heart. A warm-up party on the terrace of the Sonnenalm at the Füssener Jöchle mountain station, the season-opening tour evening, snowsail and bike experiences from the Grän Ski School, and snowboard and telemark trials ensure action and a great atmosphere. A lively party at "s'Um und Auf" on Friday and Saturday evenings provides the perfect finale.
Schattwald: Safe in the snow, regional enjoyment, and celebration together
Knowledge and enjoyment are combined here. Presentations in the community hall and a public SAAC lecture will teach safety in the snow, followed by practical SAAC courses on Saturday. Culinary highlights await visitors on Friday in Stube 15.60 with guest chefs from the Hotel Lumberg and Restaurant La Soa, as well as in "Flora's Haus" with dishes such as "Eating Like Grandma Made." On Saturday, the "Huagart" at the valley station will treat guests to regional specialties. A DJ will provide a lively end to both evenings in the "Tante Emma" restaurant.

Sporty explorers can try out ski, touring, and snowshoe equipment at the testival, build their own ski poles, or learn about activities in the Tannheimer Valley at the Outdooractive stand.

Cross-country skiers and connoisseurs can expect a varied program: In addition to equipment testing, there are introductory courses with professional tips. "Pottery in the Mountains" at the Chalet Grand Flüh adds a creative touch. At the opening at Sport Rief, a glass of Prosecco and special offers will be available.
