Windham Mountain Hires Peter Calabria As Director of Finance

Windham Mountain is pleased to announce that Peter Calabria has joined the senior leadership team in the role of Director of Finance. Calabria will head the accounting and finance department, while bringing over 16 years of management and practical application of complex accounting standards and industry regulation in varied industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and wholesale/retail.

A summa cum laude accounting graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Calabria began his career at the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and served most recently as Assistant Chief Financial Officer of C.L. King & Associates.

“I’m pleased to welcome Pete to the Windham Mountain team,” commented President and General Manager Chip Seamans, adding, “Pete’s wealth of experience in accounting and finance fits well with our plans for continued growth and evolution of resort offerings. It’s an exciting time at Windham and we’re happy to have Pete on board.”

When asked why Windham Mountain, Calabria says, “’I am excited to combine my accounting and finance background with my love of the outdoors and of snowboarding. I believe we are living in a transformative time for the ski industry and that embrace of year-round outdoor recreation will be key to success going forward.” He also added, “While in my early 20s, Windham Mountain was the first place I got on a snowboard, so it’s great to return to a mountain that I started on and have been coming back to for years.”

Just two and a half hours north of New York City, Windham Mountain is a place to get lost and found again, to find stunning adventure close to home, and to be reminded of how good it feels to be alive with family and friends in the fresh air. Boasting 285 skiable acres across 54 trails serviced by 11 lifts, the Resort offers six terrain parks, an award-winning snowsports school, lodging, on-mountain dining, an Adventure Park, a full-service spa, and much more.
