Veronika Nutz Becomes The New Operational Managing Director Of Hochkar & Ötscher Tourismus

Hochkar & Ötscher Tourismus GmbH is getting a new operational managing director: Veronika Nutz, long-time project manager at ecoplus Alpin GmbH, will be appointed operational managing director effective July 1, 2025. The experienced tourism manager will succeed Karl Weber. ecoplus Managing Director Helmut Miernicki announced: "Karl Weber will continue to manage Annaberger Liftbetriebs-Gesellschaft mbH and serve as coordinator of the ARGE NÖ Bergerlebnispass."
"Veronika Nutz is both an outstanding expert at ecoplus Alpin GmbH and a highly respected entrepreneur in the region. She has earned this reputation through her own innovative projects as an accommodation provider – such as Urlaub am BAHNhof in Wienerbruck – as well as through her competent participation in various committees," says ecoplus Alpin Managing Director Markus Redl.
Veronika Nutz, 45, brings extensive experience in the cable car industry and tourism development. Starting in 2011, she spent more than ten years coordinating projects in Lower Austria, including "Volksschulen zum Schnee," a successful project to promote young skiers. Since 2021, Veronika Nutz has been working as a project manager at ecoplus Alpin GmbH. Initially, she spent two years working in the field of tourism location development in the Semmering region, then was responsible for product and pricing policy as well as customer relationship management ("Friends of the Mountains") at four locations: Hochkar Bergbahnen, Ötscherlifte, Annaberger Lifte, and Erlebnisalm Mönichkirchen.
