Consensio Chalets Unveil Chalet Des Legendes

Consensio proudly announces the launch of Chalet des Légendes, an extraordinary new property in Val d’Isère, inspired by Val d’Isère’s Ski Heroes.
Since 2009, Consensio Chalets has managed the finest collection of luxury Alpine properties, combining five-star service with personalisation, privacy, and authenticity. Chalet des Légendes now joins this exclusive portfolio, offering guests a chance to immerse themselves in the magic of Val d’Isère — past and present.
Nestled at the foot of the world-famous La Face de Bellevarde — the legendary Olympic and World Cup downhill piste — the chalet pays tribute to the ski champions who shaped the identity of this iconic resort.
Chalet des Légendes has been created with one vision in mind: to embody the daring spirit of the great names who made Val d’Isère world-renowned. The chalet’s name honours the Olympic champions and World Cup racers whose courage on La Face and surrounding peaks carved Val d’Isère’s reputation as the home of ski legends.
From Henri Oreiller, the 1948 Olympic champion, to Jean-Claude Killy, the triple Olympic gold medallist whose name is synonymous with Val d’Isère, generations of skiers have tested themselves on La Face. Today, guests of Chalet des Légendes can wake up each morning beneath the piste that defined a sporting era — watching the slopes where history was written.
The chalet combines alpine tradition with modern indulgence. Sleeping up to 12 guests across five en- suite bedrooms, the chalet features a dramatic double-height living space with panoramic views. Guests can enjoy an indoor pool, jacuzzi, hammam, and treatment room, as well as a private bar and ski room with heated boot warmers. With Consensio’s relaxed catered service, your stay includes a private chef, housekeeping, and a chauffeured service to the lifts.
Every detail reflects a deep respect for Val d’Isère’s heritage, while offering today’s travellers the highest level of comfort and service.
“As much as Chalet des Légendes is a sanctuary of luxury, it’s also a place of connection,” says Ceri Tinley; co-founder and Managing Director. “Standing at the base of La Face, it invites guests to step into the history of Oreiller, Killy, and so many others who made Val d’Isère legendary.”
