Val d’Isère Voted ‘Best Ski Resort in Europe’ In Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards 2025

Val d’Isère is delighted to announce it has been voted Best Ski Resort in Europe’ in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards 2025. This prestigious title, determined by the magazine’s extensive global readership, officially recognises the resort’s continued commitment to delivering an unparalleled standard of snow, terrain, and authentic Alpine hospitality.  

This award recognises the seamless integration of world-class infrastructure and service, which together create an unforgettable experience for visitors. This accolade reinforces the ongoing efforts of the resort, alongside every local business and staff member dedicated to preserving the resort's excellence and reinforces its commitment to innovation for the season ahead.

The resort officially reopens for the ski season from 29th November 2025 to 3rd May 2026, offering world-class sport, luxury stays, gastronomy, and sustainable innovation. New accommodation includes forest-inspired penthouses at Experimental Chalet, Purple Ski’s lavish Chalet Cervinia with spa and cinema, stylish aparthotels by Village Montana, and contemporary apartments from Hip Hideouts at Le Parc 1963.

New dining highlights range from Middle Eastern flavours at IMA and refined French cuisine at Bottleneck at K2 Chogori to a bold new culinary and cultural hub at La Folie Douce. On the slopes, visitors can enjoy new panoramic terraces and streamlined QR-code lift access, whilst families benefit from free ski passes for children under eight and creative kids’ workshops at La Folie Douce, while sustainability efforts expand with more electric buses and the “Preserve Val d’Isère” campaign.
