STOX Energy Socks Is Now Officially A Certified B Corporation

STOX Energy Socks, known for its high-performance compression wear, is now officially a Certified B Corporation

By achieving B Corp Certification, the company joins a global movement of businesses committed to high standards of social and environmental performance. STOX has been certified by B Lab, the nonprofit behind the B Corp movement. As part of the certification, STOX has amended its articles of association to ensure that every business decision considers people, planet and long-term impact.

To earn this certification, STOX was assessed across five key categories:

  • environment,
  • workers,
  • governance,
  • community
  • and of course customers.

With a score of 93.4 on the B Impact Assessment, STOX proves that performance and responsibility can go hand in hand and is committed to getting that balance right, one step at a time.

Impact starts at the fiber. Already, over 40% of what STOX produces uses certified yarns like organic cotton (kinder to the soil and environment), recycled polyester (less plastic waste), and animal-friendly wool. In 2023, 15% of the materials were sustainable. In 2025, they’ve already passed the 20% mark, and each year they keep improving by at least 5%. As STOX delivers medical-quality compression, their materials must meet the strictest performance standards. Step by step, more recycled and organic fibers are rising to that challenge.

'Whenever performance meets innovation, we choose the latest recycled yarns. Because the fibers we choose today shape the impact we make tomorrow,” explains Stijn Nuijten.

Nearly all production takes place in Italy, where STOX works in close partnership with trusted suppliers. These relationships go beyond contracts: they’re built on fair pay, safe conditions, and shared sustainability goals across the supply chain. In 2024, our footprint was 723 tons of CO₂. Each year, STOX targets a 5% relative reduction in both production and outbound transport, a steady pace toward smaller impact and bigger progress.

“For us, B Corp is not a badge, it’s a direction. It’s about being transparent as a company, creating a positive culture for our team, and building strong, fair relationships with suppliers and customers. Together, we keep pushing for better, step by step,” says Stijn Nuijten.

With this certification, STOX reinforces its mission to deliver compression that supports movement, mindset, and measurable change. From the first step to the finish line.
