Smartwool Partners With Protect Our Winters Switzerland

Ahead of the 2020/21 snow season Smartwool Europe are proud to announce their partnership with Protect Our Winters (POW) Switzerland.

Founded by professional snowboarder Jeremy Jones in 2007, POW is a global non-profit charity that builds communities of athletes, activists and committed companies to work on solutions to make change in society, economy and politics.

Tackling the climate crisis that threatens our ability to enjoy the snow and all the experiences that come with it. By partnering with Protect Our Winters Switzerland Smartwool become the latest voice in the Swiss outdoor community taking a stand against climate change.

Helping support and promote POW’s educational and activism programmes via Smartwool’s brand channels, athlete ambassadors and retail campaigns.

Born in the Rocky Mountains in 1994, Smartwool have been on a constant journey to improve their products and lessen their impact on the environment. Actively creating sustainable wool sourcing solutions for the whole industry and partnering with the right people to reconsider their supply chain and make products from recycled materials.

Smartwool’s supporting partnership of POW Switzerland will be announced and celebrated at the POW Switzerland annual Summit held on October 3rd, 2020. The Summit brings together professional athletes, mountain guides, members of the science alliance and industry creatives. Providing the perfect opportunity for meaningful discussions on how to best commit to climate action.
