Slide & OTS Winter To Hold Sustainability Breakfast 'Sponsored By Rab & Lowe Alpine'

Following the success of the first ‘Sustainability Breakfast’ hosted earlier in the year at OTS, the organisers of Slide & OTS Winter are pleased to announce a similar event to take place at the show on Wednesday 19th January 2022 in Telford.

Kindly sponsored and supported by Rab & Lowe Alpine, the theme will be facing up to the challenges of declining world resources and global climate change recently highlighted at the COP26 conference.

Adam Hall from Protect Our Winters (POW) will provide insights and practical advice into influencing climate policy and Debbie Read, Rab’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager will offer insights into being a Carbon Neutral Company with personal experience and knowledge gained from Rab’s own journey to Net Zero by 2030.

There will be a light buffet breakfast served at 8am and networking opportunities prior to the initial introduction provided by the OIA’s CEO , Andrew Denton with a closing Q&A session before the show opens at 9am.

To register your interest in attending the Sustainability Breakfast on 19th January simply email leemo@raremanagement.co.uk and please note that numbers will be limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Commenting on Rab’s support of the event, Rab’s Marketing Director, Jim Evans said, “We are pleased to lend our support to sponsoring the Sustainability Breakfast at the show and want to share some of our own practical experiences as a company with the wider snowsport and outdoor community. Climate change is already affecting us all and at Rab we want to explain some of our own sustainability initiatives in the hope that others may learn from our own experiences.”

Slide & OTS Winter opens its doors for business on 18th January 2022 and this is now the only opportunity for brands to showcase their latest product ranges, and for snowsports and outdoor retailers to place forward orders to guarantee stock for delivery for the following winter season. The show has already attracted 85 exhibitors with all the major snowsports brands represented as well as outdoor brands keen to present their winter ranges to UK retail trade audiences and media. To visit the show, you can easily pre-register HERE on the website.
Telford International Centre is easy to get there either by road using the M54 or rail (less than a mile from Telford Central Station) and with 1500 car park spaces on-site, parking couldn’t be easier.
