Opening this winter, the property embodies Ski France’s pioneering Contactless Catered Chalet concept, offering guests the privacy and independence of a self-containedprivate chaletwhilst still with all the ease and food & beverageinclusions of a fully catered holiday.
From the moment guests arrive, everything is taken care of: beds are made, fridges stocked*, wine cellars replenished, and skis and lift passes arranged. Dinner awaits, ready to putin the oven, and mid-week, the chalet is cleaned with fresh towels provided, all while guests enjoy the slopes. The Ski France team remainsavailable in person and by phone for any assistance, ensuring a seamless and stress-free stay.
The Location
Chalet Genepy is locatedclose to the resort centre in the Petit Alaska sector ofVal d’Isère, just a 10-minute walk from the centre and only a five to six-minute drive to the Solaise Express lifts and nearby pistes. A private driver service is included, making access to the slopes effortless. Genepy also sits conveniently next to Chalet Jupiter, which sleeps up to eight people, allowing two groups to combine for a larger ski holiday, making it an ideal choice for a group of 20.
The Chalet
Spread across three delightfully furnished floors, Chalet Genepy combines traditional alpine style, think wooden beams, stone fireplace, and cosy interiors, with modern luxury touches. The chalet accommodates 10 adults across five double bedrooms, plus a separate bunk room sleeping an additional four guests.
- Ground floor: Four bedrooms, two with en-suites and two sharing a shower room (one with bunk beds). A ski room with heated boot racks and a wellness area featuring a rock-built indoor swimming pool, steam room and chill-out space are also located here.
- First floor: A generous open plan living and dining area with fireplace, large dining table, comfortable sofas, and state-of-the-art TV. This floor also offers a sun-drenched terrace with panoramic mountain views, a modern kitchen, and a second lounge with sofa and TV.
- Second floor: A luxurious master suite with en-suite bathroom (plus separate shower) and walk-in wardrobe, alongside another en-suite bedroom.
A world-class ski destination
Val d’Isère, lying at 1,850 metres in the Tarentaise Valley, is one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the world. It shares its ski area with neighbouring Tignes, forming the Tignes–Val d’Isère domain with over 300 km of pistes. With 95% of the terrain above 1,850 metres and a glacier peaking at 3,456 metres, excellent snow conditions are guaranteed throughout the season.
