Ski Bradford Encourages Families To Stay Active With Night Skiing

As MLK marks the midpoint of the winter season, Ski Bradford is reminding New Englanders that winter is far from over. With weeks of skiing and snowboarding still ahead, the family-friendly ski area is encouraging guests to take advantage of night skiing and other on-mountain experiences designed to fit busy schedules - especially for those working in Boston and surrounding communities.
Ski Bradford's night skiing hours Monday through Saturday, from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. offer a healthy, outdoor option for unwinding after a busy week — perfect for families looking to stay active, or those participating in Dry January.
“For families looking for a healthy winter activity in the evening, night skiing is a great way to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and make memories together, "said Dennis Gauvin, Marketing Manager at Ski Bradford. There’s plenty of winter left to get outside and have fun on the slopes.”
Night skiing at Bradford offers several benefits for families, beginners and after-work skiers, including:
- Convenience for busy schedules, allowing guests to ski or ride after work or school without committing to a full day on the mountain.
- A healthy, full-body workout, providing an active way to unwind and relieve stress at the end of the day.
-
A relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, with typically fewer crowds and shorter lift lines compared to daytime hours.
- Affordability and accessibility, with reasonably priced night skiing tickets and packages available at Ski Bradford and a short drive from Boston.
- A unique evening experience, offering the opportunity to ski under the lights and stars
Ski Bradford also welcomes first-time skiers and snowboarders. January is widely regarded in the ski industry as a prime month for beginners, with lesson availability, and plenty of terrain suited to those new to skiing or snowboarding.
Guests are encouraged to rent equipment at the resort for proper fit, wear helmets, and dress in warm, weather-appropriate layers. Goggles and sunscreen (for daytime skiing) are also recommended, as sunlight reflects off the snow even on overcast days. Beginners are encouraged to take a lesson with trained instructors, who focus on fundamentals, confidence-building, and fun.
Beyond night skiing, Ski Bradford offers daytime skiing and riding, private lessons, and a terrain park, giving guests flexibility to enjoy winter on their own schedule. With weeks of winter still ahead, the resort invites families to stay active, try something new, and make lasting memories on the slopes.
