Salomon Appoints Latin America Distributor

Salomon appointed Sport Group as its exclusive distributor for Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia, effective August 2025. The collaboration “aims to capitalize on the sustained growth” the Amer Sports-owned brand has achieved in Latin America over the past year.
As part of an ambitious regional strategy, Salomon intends to implement 26 DTC initiatives throughout the remainder of 2025, including store openings and targeted refurbishments in the continent’s key markets, enhancing the brand experience for consumers.

This alliance with Sport Group represents a firm step toward our regional ambition: to expand our presence, strengthen our B2B (business-to-business) relationships, and continue positioning Salomon as a premium brand in both performance and sportstyle , one of our biggest commitments for the future,” said Katarina Cloidt, managing director of Salomon Mexico and the rest of Latin America.
Sport Group, based in Asunción, Paraguay, has over 25 years of experience distributing and marketing footwear, apparel, and sports and lifestyle accessories, with a strong regional presence in Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, and Central America.
