Rudy Project Presents Three New Products And Strengthens One Of The Most Complete Rx Ranges In The World

At the recently concluded Silmo fair in Paris, Rudy Project unveiled three new solutions for sports optics.

RP Optics Maximus – The new optical platform, based on Monoblock Technology and a special high-resistance polycarbonate formula, delivers athletes with vision prescriptions unprecedented optical and mechanical performance.

The RP Optics Maximus lens further expands Rudy Project’s offer of corrective options, and it consolidates the Italian brand’s leadership in the industry for variety of vision solutions, with seven different solutions.

“With Maximus, we redefine the standard of prescription sport lenses: no external discontinuities, maximum optical stability, and superior visual comfort – even in the most extreme conditions,” says Simone Barbazza, Marketing Director at Rudy Project.

Maximus lenses are crafted from a single optical block, eliminating the traditional inserts visible from the outside. The prescription is carved internally, directly into the lens. Thanks to the mirrored front coating, then, the typical thickness of prescription lenses virtually disappears, ensuring impeccable elegance.

With its seamless aesthetics and no inserts visible from the outside, this solution addresses one of the main limitations of traditional inserts: the new Rudy Project models, in fact, deliver maximum functionality without aesthetic compromises.

Specifically designed for athletes who require corrective lenses, the Maximus lens offers maximum clarity without distortions, ensuring absolute optical stability. The absence of external discontinuities also guarantees reliability and optical consistency, reducing visual fatigue.

The combination of optical lenses with an extremely lightweight frame – characterized by exceptional resistance, adjustable fit and advanced comfort – makes these new glasses an exclusive product that blends sporting performance with refined elegance.

This solution not only overcomes one of the main limits of traditional inserts, but also guarantees maximum clarity without distortions, increased durability, and full functionality without aesthetic compromise

Specifically designed for athletes requiring correction, the Maximus lens is offered in 10 colors across three different models in the collection, all compatible with base 7 lenses.

No Code – The name No Code reflects its unconventional nature: it provides an answer for those who need ophthalmic solutions and move seamlessly from daily activities to performance sports, all while keeping comfort and style. With a quick gesture, the prescription frame becomes a sports sunglass.

No Code combines adjustable nose pad and temples with a contemporary, modern style, suitable both for everyday life and for sports activities. Particularly suitable for running, cycling, and trekking, it is nonetheless a versatile model, also ideal for driving.

Its main innovation is the dedicated optical clip, designed by Rudy Project exclusively for this model: extremely easy to apply thanks to a nosepiece lock system, it remains invisible behind the mirrored lens, turning the eyewear into a sports mask.

With a single move, No Code shifts identity: from an everyday model perfect for work and urban use, to a high-performance solution for sport.

“With No Code, we want to provide an innovative and concrete answer for those who seek eyewear that is not just an optical aid, but a true ally in both sports and daily life,” says Simone Barbazza, Marketing Manager at Rudy Project. “It is a model that perfectly represents our philosophy: combining technology, design and performance in a product capable of adapting to every need, without compromising on functionality.”

The ultra-light frame in bio-based, sustainable Rilsan Clear combines adjustable nosepiece and temples with a modern style.

The main lens features a base curve 6; the sun mask lens, a base curve 4.

Exception X – Featuring elegant tone-on-tone colours and a sophisticated design, Exception X is the new model born from the reinterpretation of the historic Exception. It is aimed at the most demanding athletes, particularly golf enthusiasts and those who appreciate the heritage and stylistic tradition of the Italian brand.

The true innovation of Exception X lies in the solar lens clip system, which offers four different lens options: two photochromic, one mirrored, and one classic sun lens. This versatile solution provides correction options with a wide range, allowing adaptation to any light condition while always ensuring maximum visual performance.

Exception X also features an adjustable nosepiece and flexible temples for a personalized fit, along with style details such as the laser-engraved logo on the temples.

It is available with photochromic, classic sun or mirrored lenses and provides corrective options with a wide range.

The eyewear features an adjustable nosepiece, flexible temples in lightweight and resistant Kynetium, and a laser-etched logo on the temples. The lens has a base curve 4.

Today, the Rudy Project collection includes seven different corrective options, making it one of the most complete ranges in the international scene:

• RX Direct: ophthalmic lenses integrated directly into the frame, with the new addition of RP Optics Maximus technology;
• RX Inserts: system with internal optical clip and interchangeable lenses;
• RX Optical Dock: a versatile solution allowing ophthalmic lenses to be mounted directly onto the frame;
• RX Ophtalmic: a casual ophthalmic solution, designed for everyday life;
• RX Ophtalmic Performance: a solution dedicated to athletes who require optical correction;
