Rab Unveils New Collection Of Synthetic Insulation For Autumn/winter 2024

British outdoor brand Rab (owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd.), industry leaders in merging the development of quality outdoor gear and apparel with sustainability and environmental awareness, today unveiled its brand new Autumn/Winter 2024 line, including a collection of synthetic insulation featuring new PrimaLoft® technologies. The bolstered partnership with PrimaLoft® is a continuation of the essential values for Rab, also known as “Masters of Insulation”. The brand's five core values are integrity, determination, ambition, ingenuity, and synergy.

The new Autumn/Winter 2024 line includes the Cirrus Ultra Hoody, Rab’s ultimate synthetic piece for all-mountain adventure. Featuring the new PrimaLoft® ThermoPlume®+ insulation, the Cirrus Ultra Hoody is the lightest and warmest loose fill synthetic jacket Rab has ever made, and was born from pushing the boundaries of what is possible to achieve with synthetic insulation.

Evolute Hoody is also included in the new line, and serves as an essential midlayer made to keep you moving in variable conditions. Made with PrimaLoft® Evolve lining that traps warm air closer to the body, the Evolute Hoody answers the call for an adaptable, hardworking midlayer that will manage your output, even when you’re adding and removing outer layers.

The new line also includes the new Khroma Converge Jacket, a versatile ski jacket featuring a GORE-TEX ePE membrane that offers all-mountain protection. It provides next-level comfort with warm backer technology, and is geared up for tackling powder descents, steep big mountain lines, and technical terrain. The GORE-TEX ePE membrane is fluorocarbon-free and has the same high hydrostatic head as previous GORE-TEX technologies, meaning it's equally suitable for the worst weather and better aligns with Rab’s goal to reduce the amount of fluorocarbons in their products.

New to the Rab pack line is the Adrift Pack, a tough, versatile day pack comfortable for everyday use. The Adrift Pack is designed to adapt to the varied demands of an active lifestyle and survive the rigors of everyday adventure, from post-work bouldering sessions to commutes on two wheels

By Autumn/Winter 2024, Rab packs, equipment and accessories will include Material Facts information as the company continues on its ambitious roadmap to Net Zero. Material Facts tables were successfully introduced for Rab's apparel and sleeping bag ranges in AW23 already, marking a significant stride towards fostering transparency and honesty around the communication of CSR topics. The tables provide details on a product's amount recycled materials by weight, its fluorocarbon status and the country of origin. By AW24, Rab will also be sharing the percentage of renewable energy used in the manufacturing process of the final product.
