Protest Previews Mens' AW 19-20 Collection, Adds GeoGreen Line Made From Recycled PET Bottles

Prostest is previewing its AW 19-20 collection and loking at key trends for the comning season.  So we start this season with the first trend;
  • EVOLUTION; Protest are well known for fusing street looks with advanced technical clothing and here you have it all. This group features their awesome GeoGreen series, functional winter-wear made from recycled or sustainable fabrics. Take your game to the next level with this technical series of streamlined staples.
  • PARK STYLE; Inspired by the terrain parks and the athletes that use them, this is Park Style. Featuring asymmetrical lines and monochrome contrasting graphic details. Cool and minimal.
  • ALPINE COLOUR-BLOCK; This group is made up of dark yellows and golden hues, off set against by grunge greys and deep reds in contrasting blocks and shapes. Colour blocking is again a massive trend for this season.
  • CROSS-OVER; This is one of Protest’s signature functionalities. They are so good at taking you from the street to the slope and back to the street again without the pain of an outfit change. Giving you more time to do what you love.
  • TECH ROYALE; Takes the colour blocking trend to another level of juxtaposition. Using some of the warmest hues of sun dust orange and cinnamon off set with amazone greens and slices of grey melange. This really warms the winter palette up this year.
  • URBAN CAMO; Here is Protest’s new take on the forever on trend camo print. Seen from afar it looks like camo, but get up close and it's a watercolour work of art, with tone on tone layering. Colours wash across each other in shades of olive, grey and black. This works great as a statement, worn head to toe or just as a simple accent of socks or a belt for the not so brave.
  • NEON FLASH; Using the base layer colour of melange then popping every bit of neon that goes with it, from yellow, green to blue. You decide how bold you to take it, go with an all over neon Jacket or a simple single stripe.

Protest is working for more earth-friendly fabrics and processes. Fusing the authentic design that you have come to expect from Protest with advancements in green technology and renewable re- sources. We have created the GeoGreen label; functional clothing that is made out of recycled products or sustainable fabrics.

They’ve upcycled PET bottles. PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate and it’s used as a raw material for disposable bottles. These bottles are made for one- time use and end up in landfills where it could take up to 500 years for them to break down.

They take this plastic waste and recycle it into polyester yarn. It becomes some- thing structurally and functionally better. This is upcycling. We have produced the Arram jacket, made from 40 recycled PET bottles, a jacket that is not only functional and stylish; it may even last a lifetime.

When you see the GeoGreen label you can be assured that this garment is earth-friendly, featuring either recycled or eco-friendly fabrics, making the smallest possible footprint.

Riders ARE influencers

Protest creates for the riders, for those who best enjoy their life on a mountain or on a beach. We want to give back to the sport and the athletes who inspire us. Protest works with a large group of national and international athletes who truly live for their sport.
