Each year, the Hall of Fame elects four new Hall of Fame members and selects a Pioneer Hall of Fame member. As the name implies, the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame was created to honor “Coloradoans” who have contributed significantly to the sport and industry of skiing and snowboarding in the State of Colorado.

They say "Chris's dedication to the sport and education go without saying. The Hall of Fame nominations are rigorous, long time spokesperson for Chaos hats, all of us at Chaos are honored by Chris's years of devotion to the sport."

The accomplishments of the individual must have had a direct benefit to Colorado, whether through competition, by encouraging growth of the sport in the state or by exporting ideas, talent, techniques or products developed within the state that have national or international significance.

Residence in Colorado for at least 10 years is required to demonstrate lasting Colorado impact. Chris is a Colorado Native from Vail.

The program has served over 45,000 students since its inception as a non-profit in 2013.

The history of the school visits goes back 20 years, Chris Anthony originally partnered with Colorado Ski Country USA and later with Vail Resorts to support educational enrichment in local schools. CYIP has engaged students through school visits, appearances and experiential programs outside the classroom. In total, over 80,000 students have been served.

Anthony also looks forward to bridging youth to the new indoor ski facility SNOBAHN, where he is an Ambassador. He will introduce kids from the city to this new indoor ski experience as part of a STEM education program he is progressively designing.
