For all ski fans, the Pizol winter sports area offers 3 new runs from the coming winter. These are the slopes: No. 32 "Zaunuz-Tritt exit", No. 35 "Grosstäli exit" and No. 36 "Grossbach exit". The new routes are signposted and controlled, but not prepared. In the course of this expansion of the offer, all slopes in the Pizol area were re-measured and certified by the engineering office Casutt Wyrsch Zwicky. The Pizol area presents itself for the upcoming winter season 2021/22 with 12 lifts and 50 kilometers of slopes!
Two modern 8-seater gondola lifts take winter sports enthusiasts from Bad Ragaz and Wangs directly to the ski area - only one hour from Zurich and St. Gallen. In addition to the slopes, sledding and winter hiking trails as well as ski touring slopes and a snowshoe trail attract visitors.

Twelve lifts distribute winter sports enthusiasts in the Pizol area over the slopes. There is also a lot to discover besides the ski slopes - toboggan runs, snowshoe and winter hiking trails etc.. Various restaurants and accommodations round off the offer.
Have you always wondered how kilometers of slopes are calculated? The horizontal, inclined and actually driven distances are measured. They primarily calculate the route lengths as you would actually ski the slope - namely in curves (A). In the second variant (B), the hollows and bumps are also included in the measurement. In the third stage (C) the length of the slope is measured from the start to the end point. The actual values are calculated from these variables and provide the basis for our 50 kilometers of slopes in the Pizol area.
