This diesel-electric version, with the clean Cummins engine including a diesel particulate filter, also guarantees a further 20% reduction in CO2 emissions. Furthermore, the PistenBully 600 E+ can be operated with HVO without any modifications or retrofitting, which brings emissions closer to zero. With its usual maneuverability and outstanding traction, it is ideal for a wide variety of snow conditions and tasks. Versatile in use, the PistenBully 600 E+ also performs consistent and perfect slope preparation on both steep slopes and flat sections.
This was also recognized in Sölden, where a PistenBully 600 E+ was part of the fleet years ago. "This vehicle perfectly complements our fleet of 600 and 800 models – because it's the mix that counts! Now we had the opportunity to monitor a new demo vehicle throughout the winter," reports Emanuel Gufler, Head of Workshop and Fleet at Bergbahnen Sölden. Numerous adjustments and optimizations were tested here – among other things, to ensure the longevity of PistenBully in this model as well. "Thanks to the hybrid drive, the PistenBully 600 E+ is a truly comfortable driver. It's quieter, uses less hydraulic oil, and is simply more environmentally friendly. The reduced fuel consumption – and this with HVO – and the resulting minimal emissions not only mean savings, but also a decidedly positive impact on the environment."

"When I found out I had to test the PistenBully 600 E+, I was skeptical at first," says Anton, a long-time driver in Sölden. I've been driving PistenBully vehicles for 22 years, and my heart has always been red. With the PistenBully 600 E+, I immediately started pushing out snow deposits and just thought, "Wow, that pushes!" The enormous torque of the electric motors – you can really feel it when you're pushing!" The vehicle was also put through its paces when pushing apart avalanche cones and during snow farming – and it proved its worth. "The PistenBully 600 E+ is truly a vehicle for even the toughest applications." He quickly became friends with the green vehicle. "What particularly impressed me was the instant braking effect. Especially when setting up snow cannons and accessing water connections, the PistenBully 600 E+ is unbeatable, because the vehicle stays where I want it to – and doesn't back down a millimeter." Anton has driven pretty much every PistenBully model in his many years at this legendary ski resort. "I never thought I'd say this – but I have to admit that if I could choose, I'd prefer to drive only the PistenBully 600 E+!"
